EPE Field is a local-first workspace for dental X-ray equipment performance evaluations. It is designed to collect nothing: no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking.
The short version
- Your workspace and inspection records stay on your device.
- No account, no sign in, no ads.
- No third-party analytics or tracking tools.
- The app makes no network requests of its own.
What the app stores
- Facility contacts, X-ray equipment identity, inspection observations, calibration records, and preferences you enter are stored locally in the app's private storage.
- Evidence photos and calibration certificates you explicitly select are copied into protected local app storage.
- Finalized inspection snapshots and generated PDF reports are created on your device.
- Deleting the app deletes its local data. Device backups you configure are governed by Apple's terms.
What the app does not do
No personal information or app content is collected, transmitted, sold, or shared by us. EPE Field includes no account system, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, cloud database, or third-party data service.
Patient information
EPE Field is not designed to store patient information. The app instructs users not to capture patients or protected health information in evidence photos, notes, or reports.
Photos and documents
Apple's system pickers share only the photos and documents you explicitly choose. Selected files are processed and stored on your device; EPE Field does not upload them.
Report sharing
When you export an inspection report or another document, it goes only to the destination you choose in the iOS or iPadOS share sheet. Nothing is sent automatically.
Notifications
If you opt in, calibration reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Instrument information is not sent to a notification server.
Regulatory disclaimer
EPE Field organizes observations and calculations. It does not authorize an inspector, certify equipment, replace calibrated instruments, or make a final regulatory determination. State-specific policy references must be reviewed by a qualified professional.
Children
EPE Field is a professional equipment workflow and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data handling changes, this page and its last-updated date will be revised with the release that introduces the change.
